Fall in New York

This post is for the family members and friends who live in California, Colorado, Florida, Africa, and other places that don't have the fall colors of New York. No narrative is needed, just enjoy the photos. Most of them are better if you click on them and view them full size. These were all taken on our road and around our house.

I know, I'm not far-off family, but I appreciate the fall pics too. Southwest Oklahoma just doesn't have a lot to offer in regard to the beauty of fall. Beautiful pictures, thanks for posting!

Please tell Tijan we miss him very, very much. We think of him all the time and pray for him.

I'm glad you enjoyed the touch of fall as well, Amanda!

All I can say is....WOW! Somehow I thought you had to have a cold fall to get beautiful colors.

Our fall colors are so much better this year than last! For one thing, too much rain and wind takes the leaves down before all the various types turn colors, and we haven't had a lot of rain.

Natalie,
I had to stop by Tijan's tonight to ask him about driving into Banjul to pick up some stuff (a toilet.... I will be a week with out one). I was sitting on the bed and he asked if I knew where it came from. Pretty easy, it was a tubaab bed. : ) He greets you. Now that I catch you on blog, I keep him posted on when I hear from ya.

Beautiful photos. We have some nice colors here in Indiana but nothing like what you're showing there.

The pics are lovely, but I'm pretty sure the area doesn't look like this any more! Time for an update... :)

Love and hugs!

In answer to your question. My friend started to teach me photoshop this summer. I knew I couldn't remember everything she taught me so I got a book. It is excellent. Lotsa fun. So yeah, I put the text on the photos with photoshop. I agree with what the last two comments said: Update!

Natalie,
i was going to say that New York doesn't look like that any more! But I read the last few emails and I bet you are wishing it still looked as beautiful... and warm.

Have a Merry Christmas!

MOM!!! IT'S ALREADY MARCH!!! Hello! I should think you have at least a little bit of news to post...since your last blog, Nathan and I have come to see you in NY (which you wrote nothing about). Christmas has come and gone (which you wrote nothing about). I got engaged (which you wrote nothing about). We set a date, time, and place for our wedding (which you wrote nothing about). I THINK YOU HAVE A LOT OF VERY IMPORTANT GROUND TO COVER!!!

Love you mumsy,
Yvonne
